A Look Back on 2024

As we settle into 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back on how incredible 2024 was. It was packed with exciting product launches, bold new colorways, meaningful partnerships, and so much more. Here’s a snapshot of the year’s highlights, superlative-style.

Best in iPhone

The September Apple event is always a major milestone at Nomad. It’s the culmination of months of designing, testing, and perfecting our cases for the new iPhone. This year, we not only brought back fan favorites like Modern Leather Case, Sport Case, and Rugged Case, but also introduced an entirely new design: Traditional Leather Case.

Traditional Leather Case marked our first venture into the world of full-wrap leather, and it took us well over two years to perfect. Along the way, we faced unexpected challenges (more on that in this blog post), but the hard work paid off. The result is a case wrapped in a single layer of premium leather, combining style and sophistication like never before. Offering the same reliable protection and functionality as our other cases, Traditional Leather Case truly earns its title as the ‘Best in iPhone.'

One of our favorite things about Traditional Case is its unique patina potential. The edges and sides, constantly in contact with your hand, will develop a rich, shiny finish with everyday use.

Best in Apple Watch

Apple Watch continued to dominate this year, especially with the release of the Series 10 watch and Apple Watch Ultra in Black. To meet high demand, we added Rocky Point Band to our band lineup. 

Designed from the ground up, Rocky Point features ultra-tough compression-molded FKM and grade 5 titanium hardware. Every detail was carefully considered to help you get the most out of your Apple Watch.

Highest Demand Product

This May, we launched Tracking Card, our take on wallet tracking. As thick as just two credit cards, it brings effortless Find My tracking to any wallet. It was so popular, it sold out—not once, but twice.

Most Popular Limited Edition

April brought the release of Limited Edition Glow 2.0, a new and improved take on our original Glow colorway. It sold out in under a week, easily becoming our most popular Limited Edition colorway of the year.

Coolest New Material

The Limited Edition program also saw two new leathers—Olde Dublin and Green Chrome. Each brought something distinct to the iPhone 16 case lineup. Olde Dublin stood out for its rapid patina development, while Green Chrome wowed with its silky-smooth finish.

Proudest Certification

In August, we proudly renewed our Climate Neutral certification, marking four years of taking actionable steps to reduce our carbon footprint. It’s our way of giving back to the planet and working toward a healthier future for generations to come.

Coolest Partnership

We also continued our long-standing partnership with Protecting Blue Whales and Blue Skies (BWBS). As a Brand Ambassador, we exclusively booked low-speed freight companies to protect marine life and cut emissions. We also supported BWBS by helping redesign their website and create a new logo to amplify their important work.


BWBS has been doing such amazing work protecting whales in the Santa Barbara channel. We're proud to partner with this local organization and be their very first brand ambassador.
