  The best way is to use a charging cable or the eraser end of a pencil. Push on the Pixel Bud through the Rugged Case through the bottom charging port opening.
- How should I care for my Rugged Case for Pixel Buds?
  
  The leather will develop a patina over time, giving it a beautiful, worn-in and weathered look unique to you. A soft, damp cloth can help clean it, but we don't recommend fully submerging this case. For best care, use a quality leather conditioner. Shop our leather conditioner
- How do I attach a lanyard to my Rugged Case for Pixel Buds?
  
  The lanyard attachment point is built into the bottom of the Pixel Buds Rugged case. In order to attach the lanyard, it is best to use a small object like a paperclip to help push the thread through the openings on the case. Our Wrist Strap is included with this Pixel Buds case.

Nice case, not fully compatible

The case nicely manufactured. Leather is on most parts tightly wrapped without wrinkles. Top stays put even without sticky tape. Charge port cutout is big enough. Only downside is that the case is not fully compatible with the Pixel Buds Pro 2 as the speaker cutout is missing. The product info states the omission but I missed that unfortunately.
