How It Started
Nomad began with a simple idea: a small yet powerful cable you could have on you at all times. In 2012, we brought that idea to Kickstarter with ChargeCard, a credit card-sized cable that made it easy to stay powered on the go. The response exceeded every expectation, and it set everything in motion.
What started with a single cable has grown into a collection of tools for modern life, from charging hubs and smartphone cases to Apple Watch bands and EDC essentials. While our product lineup has evolved over the years, our core values have remained exactly the same: thoughtful design, world-class materials, and an unwavering commitment to durability.
How It's Going
A lot has changed since our Kickstarter days: we’ve streamlined our product development process, established relationships with top-tier suppliers, and improved our operations to better serve our customers abroad. Through it all, your feedback has helped guide our decisions. We hope you can see its influence in the way we work today.
Looking back, a lot has changed. But what surprises me most is how much hasn't changed. We're still obsessing over materials, from Kevlar® to titanium. We're still debating the smallest design details, from the micro-adjustment links in Stratos Band to the weight of Stand One.
