Will the leather change or scratch over time?Our Horween leather is minimally treated with natural oils and waxes and is therefore prone to scuffing and marking in the first few months of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich and lustrous patina. If you’re looking for a perfect finish, this is not the case for you. If you’re after an authentic leather patina, this is absolutely the case for you.How are our cases different from other leather cases?The Horween leather we use is made in the traditional style dating back to 1905. Most leathers use synthetic tanning chemicals, dyes, and sealants to make a "perfect" surface. After so many synthetic treatments, it is hardly leather at all. We opt for handcrafted, traditionally tanned leather.How should I care for my case's leather?Watch our instructional video below on caring for your leather. We recommend using leather conditioner made by Ashland Leather Co.Where can I attach a lanyard on Modern Leather Case?There are two lanyard attachment points, both built into the reinforced speaker ports on the bottom edge of Modern Leather Case.
