Compatibility Note:

iPhone 12 Series

The magnets in the iPhone 12 series have been found to reduce wireless charging efficiency when charging on Base Station Pro, resulting in slower charging times. The estimated charging times below apply when a single device is charging in a vertical, or “portrait”, orientation on the wireless charging surface (placed at a 90º angle in relation to the wireless charging surface). This applies to iPhone 12 series devices only.

  • iPhone 12 mini: ~7 hours charge time
  • iPhone 12: ~7 hours charge time
  • iPhone 12 Pro: ~7 hours charge time
  • iPhone 12: Pro Max: ~9 hours charge time

When more than one device is charging on Base Station Pro, or when the iPhone 12 series device is placed in a different orientation, the estimated charging time is expected to increase. All devices enter a slower charging mode once the battery level exceeds 80% due to battery chemistry limitations. This can be especially pronounced in Base Station Pro. You may notice your iPhone 12 series device stops charging on Base Station Pro when it reaches 80% for a short time before it resumes charging to 100%. This is completely normal and expected behavior. Quicker charging may be achieved by disabling the “Optimized Battery Charging” setting on your iPhone.

*For best results, keep your iPhone updated with the latest iOS and perform a restart on your iPhone if any charging issues occur.

AirPods Pro / AirPods

AirPods Pro and AirPods with wireless charging case may have trouble connecting and charging when using Apple USB-C power adapters with Base Station Pro.
