Meet Tempo Band, the latest addition to our Apple Watch lineup. Built from high-performance FKM rubber and designed with a slim, aerodynamic profile, Tempo is as durable as it is refined. It looks sharp, feels light, and keeps pace with every stride. To mark its debut, we’re taking a closer look at the design process and how Tempo fits into our lineup.

Tempo Band is made from compression-molded FKM fluoroelastomer rubber, the same high-performance material used for Sport Band and Rocky Point Band. It’s 100% waterproof and designed to withstand sweat, distance, and repetition.

The FKM's satiny finish feels smooth against the skin, while interior ventilation channels keep air flowing during tough training sessions. A low-profile pin-and-tuck closure keeps the fit streamlined, and a custom aluminum pin locks everything in place without adding bulk.

Gently chamfered edges add style and refinement, while clean, curved lines make the band feel like a natural extension of your Apple Watch.

Tempo Band comes in 3 sizes so you can match your band to your Apple Watch and your wrist. The 49mm version is slightly wider through the center to complement the larger Ultra, while the 46mm offers a slimmer alternative with the same compatibility. The 41mm is designed for smaller watches.

Color was the final step in the design process. We wanted shades that felt versatile but still carried the energy of performance. After many iterations, we landed on 4 colorways: Black, Lumen, Crush, and Dusk.

While Sport Slim is minimal and refined, and Sport Band is rugged and ready for anything, Tempo bridges the gap, combining sleek everyday wear with the durability and versatility needed for peak performance. From daily training runs to race-day finish lines, Tempo is built to keep pace and look good doing it.

Tempo is the result of years of iteration and feedback, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with the Nomad community.
