Will the leather change or scratch over time?Our premium leather is minimally and naturally treated and is prone to scuffing and marking in the first few months of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich patina. If you’re looking for a perfect finish, this is not the case for you. If you’re after an authentic leather patina, this is absolutely the case for you.

What leather is used on Modern Leather Case?We spent over two years working with Danish leather tannery Ecco to develop a high-quality and environmentally responsible leather. It is the product of modern tanning methods and is therefore a little easier to work with than our Horween leather.

Where can I attach a lanyard on Modern Leather Case?There are two lanyard attachment points, both built into the reinforced speaker ports on the bottom edge of Modern Leather Case. We suggest our Wrist Strap.

First case from this brand—already a fan
This is my first phone case from this manufacturer, but I’ve bought other products from them before and have always been impressed with the quality. I picked up this case after my Apple silicone case tore at the top edge from constant pocket use. This leather case already feels like a major upgrade in quality and durability. The Horween leather looks and feels fantastic. Fit is precise, and it adds a nice, understated elegance to the phone. My only two minor observations: The top edge is very low-profile—almost flush with the screen when using a screen protector. Personally, I like that sleek look, but it's worth noting for those who want more lip protection. As expected with real leather, the MagSafe ring is already starting to show through prolonged use. Not a flaw, just something to be aware of. Leather wears in a way that adds character, not perfection—so if you’re after a pristine look, this might not be the material for you. That said, I’d absolutely buy this again. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and it’s clear this case will age gracefully with use.
