  • How strong is Aluminum Band’s DLC coating?
Aluminum Band’s DLC coating is extremely durable, but it’s slightly softer than most metal laptops so it may start to show scratches with frequent typing. We recommend removing your band before typing on a metal laptop.
  • Is my Aluminum Band waterproof?
While we use water-resistant materials for our links and lugs, we do not recommend submerging your Aluminum Band in water for extended periods of time. Doing so may degrade the strength of the magnetic clasp over time.
  • How do I adjust the length of my band?
Aluminum Band comes with an adjustment tool so you can customize its length. Check out the video below for adjustment instructions.

  • What Apple Watches does the band work with?
Aluminum Band is compatible with Apple Watch Ultra, Series 8, 7, 6, SE, and all previous versions of Apple Watch.
  • Why are the lugs made of stainless steel and not aluminum?
Apple specifically recommends 316L stainless steel for all lug bodies.
